The rounded head is snag-resistant and features an embedded stainless steel locking tab instead of a thin molded plastic barb to allow for tighter tension and greatly reduce the chance of pullout or other malfunctions.

The textured tail provides a firm grip on the tie during installation, for safer pulling and a tighter installation when needed. The tail is turned up to help point the cable tie in the right direction for faster installation. The ribbed body provides a positive grip throughout the beam range without slipping.
