The Techflex Thermashield Tape is a high temperature and EMI/RD shielding tape that exhibits excellent heat reflection and thermal stability at extremely high temperatures for a short period of time.
The tape is made of 1 mil aluminum foil, laminated to 2 mil glass cloth with silicone adhesive. The backing retains physical properties even after thermal degradation of the silicone adhesive into an insulating silica layer. It can be used as a radiant heat shield to protect electrical control wiring, power lines and other heat-sensitive devices.
