Thermal insulation, protects up to 982 °C Silica Sleeve is a tightly woven refractory sheath and extremely suitable for vulnerable parts and people against very high temperatures.
Silica Sleeve is braided from silicon fibers to form a wear-resistant and flexible sheathing. With a wall thickness of 1.5 mm there is extra thermal protection with temperatures up to 982 °C.
The product can be easily cut with scissors. Thanks to its good stretchability, this sheath is easy to apply over cooling and hydraulic hoses or electrical cables. The sheathing is also suitable for the insulation of exhaust systems.
