High-quality braided fiberglass with heavy silicone coating

Heavy Wall Flex Glass is made from a high-quality braided fiberglass cover surrounded by a heavy duty silicone rubber coating. SGH emits light for easy installation, and is strong and flexible enough for use in small radius applications. The silicone coating expands and flexes without cracking or breaking, and the treated fiberglass minimizes fraying and dusting during assembly and use. Heavy Wall Flex Glass resists dielectric breakdown caused by operational stresses.

SGH is highly wear-resistant and remains flexible in low-temperature applications. It is also resistant to common chemicals, inorganic acids, alkalis and alphatic hydrocarbons. Rated to 392°F. (Class H), SGH is used extensively in dry transformer applications and is ideal for terminal insulation and protection in a wide range of operating environments
